Day One

i've never been so excited to open a package before. as i finished opening up the box that contained my new camera, it hit me...I had to charge the battery. I would have to stare at the battery light for the next two hours before I could start clicking away.

why did i decide to invest in this camera?
1. i was never satisfied with the results of my point and shoot. i could never capture it the way i actually saw things. the dslr has come a lot closer to making that wish come true =)
2. i've always loved the clicking noises of a camera...i know that moments are being captured.
3. maybe this a new skill/hobby that i can aquire.
